As a songwriter, I write songs. Obviously. I also write parts of songs, instrumental tunes and little odds and ends. The question is, what do I do with them? After very little thought, I decided to share these SA era ideas with you. I'm one of those writers who does not play unfinished tracks for anyone, so this is an experiment for me. Keep your expectations low. While there might be a few pieces that sound finished, there will be many more that are demos of songs or simply fragments of ideas waiting to be worked on. Also, full disclosure, I am a decent drummer, a below average guitar strummer and a great fake keyboard player! So be prepared for mistakes and embarrassing vocals etc. Speaking of vocals, I use a 'stream of consciousness' method of writing lyrics. I sing along, happily making noises until words appear.
